If you are looking for amazing BBQ then this is your place. Not only is the food delicious but you get that down home feeling. The staff if friendly, the food delicious and you can get either breakfast, lunch or dinner on any given day. I also want to say if you go here food is cooked fresh so your wait time may be a little longer then at a fast food place where things sit under a heat lamp but so worth the wait. I have visited many times since their opening and they just get better each time. Plus the prices are just right for anyone's pocket.

I've been to Bacon's a couple times now, but only because it's the only "restaurant" in Lake Butler. It's been a couple months since I've went there so I don't remember all the little details that were wrong with my visit but basically put, the staff was inexperienced, they were out of a lot of things on the menu, and they got my order wrong. The food was mediocre at best. Maybe it would've been better if the only bottle of BBQ sauce that wasn't empty wasn't the Bourbon sauce. I wasn't planning on reviewing them because it's been so long since I've went but when I saw they had a 4.5 star rating they didn't deserve I had to post.

The World Headquarters of Bacon's BBQ has moved from LaCrosse to Lake Butler, about 15 miles up the road. But, don't fret. It's now an inside, sit-down place, right on Main Street. There was a certain charm to ordering Que at the trailer window, and sitting on the swings, or under the pavilion, but I won't miss the rumble of large trucks 30 feet away, nor the ever-present insects. The items that have become favorites are still on the menu (I'm particularly fond of the "Hog Waller" dog, and mac and cheese), and new items are now available, as well.

Nice and clean dining area. The staff is courteous and attentive. Good specials. My appetizer came out quickly and dinner not too long afterwards. Location is good as there is not much in the area. Plenty of parking too. The owner has won several awards for his bbq.
